Certification of professional qualification (worldwide)
Certifications are often earned from a professional society (case of INTEAS) or from a private company – like an IT vendor (e.g. Microsoft, Adobe, Cisco, etc.). It is important to note that certifications are usually earned from a professional society or educational institute, not the government.
INTEAS certification of qualification is valid for 5 years. Then we can re-certify it. As a part of a complete renewal of an individual’s certification, it is common for the individual to show evidence of continued learning — often termed continuing education.
INTEAS requirements: We rely on two recommendation letters with detailed description of certified person knowledge and expertise from your present or past employer, detailed CV, at least 2 year expertise in the certified field and description of projects you perform (which are subject of certification). To raise standards we have created this program and therefore we can also sponsor it or affiliate it to any company which can therefore in cooperation with us create certified courses for their employees.
This program is completely independent from membership organizations enjoying association support and endorsement. The growth of certification programs is also a reaction to the changing employment market. Certifications are portable, since they do not depend on one company’s definition of a certain job. Certification stands about the resume and the professional reference by being an impartial, third-party endorsement of an individual’s professional knowledge and experience. Certification provides an impartial, third-party endorsement of an individual’s professional knowledge and experience.
We do not provide “licenseurs” which are professional certification programs which can be issued only by state or government agencies. However our certification process is in some cases very similar or even the same as licensure and differs only in terms of legal status, while in other cases it can be quite different and more comprehensive than that of licensure. Certification and licensure differ only in terms of legal status. The American National Standards Institute (ANSI), Standard 1100, defines the requirements of meeting the ANSI standard for being a certifying organization. According to ANSI Standard 1100, a professional certifying organization must meet two requirements: Deliver an assessment based on industry knowledge, independent from training courses or course providers.
Please see above written INTEAS requirements. Grant a time-limited credential to anyone who meets the assessment standards. In case of INTEAS this is limited to 5 years. We focus especially on business, finance, ICT, environment and technology sectors.. The National Organization for Competency Assurance (NOCA) is a US-based organization that helps certification bodies like INTEAS, primarily in health care and related fields, by providing them with information on the latest trends and issues of concern to practitioners and organizations focused on certification, obtaining licenses, and human resource development.
Types of certification
There are two general types of certification INTEAS can provide. Listed in order of development level and portability, they are: corporate (internal), and product-specific.
Corporate, or internal certifications, are made by a corporation or low-stakes organization for internal purposes. For example, a corporation might require a one-day training course for all sales personnel, after which they receive a certificate. Product-specific certifications are more involved, and are intended to be referenced to a product across all applications. This approach is very prevalent in the information technology (IT) industry, where personnel are certified on a version of software or hardware. This type of certification is portable across locations (for example, different corporations that use that software), but not across other products. Similar case is true also for business, finance and other sectors. In such cases INTEAS can either certify your course and give certificates to your employees (see certification of schools which has time unlimited validity – until the course itself is certified) or certify their individual expertise on global professional level, not only related to passed course (professional qualification which has limited time validity to 5 years). For better explanation please see following table.
|Personal level certification||Course level certification|
|Corporate||5 years||unlimited – see certification of courses*|
|Corporate + global personal experience including Product-specific certifications||5 years||not applicable|
|Product-specific certifications||5 years||unlimited – see certification of courses*|
* – certificate is valid during the time the course is certified Please contact us for any further details at firstname.lastname@example.org.
